Water Sports in Krakow – How to Organize an Active Weekend in Krakow?

Which Water Sports Can Be Practised in Krakow?
The Vistula river and its tributaries are great places for practising water sports. In the city and the surrounding area, there are also natural and artificial lakes with beautiful, natural landscapes. Every year, they attract enthusiasts of sports and open-air recreation.

The Water Zone offers a wide selection of activities, such us wakeboarding, paddleboarding, skimboarding, and water skiing. If you are a beginner with water sports, you can try wakeboarding academy, where you will learn the beginnings.
The Nowa Huta district offers many attractions, and one of them is canoeing on the Dłubnia river up to the Vistula river. The route takes you through the greenery of Nowa Huta. It is 6 km long, and Nowa Huta Travel offers different versions: canoeing on your own, with an instructor, and a unique canoe-bicycle micro-adventure all the way to Niepołomice. The attractions are open for people with experience, total novices, and even families with children. This is a great way to have active recreation combined with admiring the nature and sightseeing the city from the river perspective.
Active Weekend in Krakow – Water Sports
In the Bagry lake, there is WakePoint – a sports-recreation venue offering its guests a number of sport activities. Once there, you can go water skiing and wakeboarding with obstacles enabling you to do spectacular tricks. WakePoint has their own equipment rental service and a wakeboarding school, and after a tiring day you can relax on comfortable deck chairs and poufs at the beach bar.
If the weather is bad, we recommend Krakow swimming pools. Aquapark is a great opportunity for relaxing and learning. Adults will surely be happy about one of the 8 saline hot tubs, therapeutic massage jets, and sauna. Kids can go crazy with 8 slides of total length of 800 m, the Rainbow Patch and the Rapid River, as well as a climbing wall and a wading pool with the Pirate Island.
