How to get here?
From the airport
Distance between John Paul II International Airport Krakow-Balice and the Grand Ascot Hotel – 12 km
By car – about 20 minutes. The Grand Ascot Hotel offers transfer to and from the airport. If you would like to request transfer to or from the hotel, please select appropriate options during your booking process, or contact the reception desk in advance (tel: +48 12 446 76 00 or email: recepcja@grandascot.pl).
By train – about 45 minutes. After getting to Krakow-Balice Lotnisko/Airport railway station, get on the train of Koleje Małopolskie Sp. z o.o. and get off at Kraków Główny/Krakow Central Station. Next, go to the tram stop at Lubicz street (on the corner with Pawia street) and get on tram number 2, 4, or 24. After two stops, get off at Bagatela Theatre. From there you can easily walk to the hotel, heading towards Krupnicza street, and 250 metres later turn right to Szujskiego street.
From the railway (train) station
Distance between Krakow Central Station and the Grand Ascot Hotel – 1.5 km
By tram (streetcar) – after leaving the station, go to the tram stop at Lubicz street (on the corner with Pawia street) and get on tram number 2, 4, or 24. After two stops, get off at Bagatela Theatre. From there you can easily walk to the hotel, heading towards Krupnicza street, and 250 metres later turn right to Szujskiego street.
By taxi – the taxi stand is located in the parking over the platforms (level 1). Transfer to the hotel by taxi takes about 10 minutes.
On foot – a walk to the hotel takes about 20 minutes. After leaving the station, go to the corner of Lubicz street and Pawia street, pass through the pedestrian tunnel and turn left. Walk along Planty until the crossing of Dunajewskiego and Karmelicka streets, cross it and walk towards Krupnicza street. About 250 metres later turn right to Szujskiego street.
