How to get here?
From the airport
Distance between John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice and the Grand Ascot Hotel – 12 km
By car – about 20 minutes. The hotel offers transfers to and from the airport. To arrange one, select the relevant option during booking or contact the reception desk in advance (tel: +48 12 446 76 00, e-mail: recepcja@grandascot.pl).
By train – about 45 minutes. From Kraków Lotnisko/Airport railway station take the Koleje Małopolskie train to Kraków Główny (Krakow Central Station). Then walk to the tram stop on Lubicz Street, at the corner of Pawia Street, and take tram 2, 4 or 24. Get off after two stops, at Bagatela Theatre, and walk toward Krupnicza Street; about 250 meters later turn right into Szujskiego Street.
From the railway (train) station
Distance between Krakow Central Station and the Grand Ascot Hotel – 1.5 km
By tram – after leaving the station, walk to the tram stop on Lubicz Street, at the corner of Pawia Street, and take tram 2, 4 or 24. Get off after two stops, at Bagatela Theatre, and walk toward Krupnicza Street; about 250 meters later turn right into Szujskiego Street.
By taxi – the taxi rank is in the parking garage above the platforms (level 1). The ride to the hotel takes about 10 minutes.
On foot – about 20 minutes. After leaving the station, head to the corner of Lubicz Street and Pawia Street, go through the pedestrian tunnel and turn left. Follow the Planty park to the crossing of Dunajewskiego and Karmelicka Streets, cross it and continue toward Krupnicza Street. About 250 meters later turn right into Szujskiego Street.
